Vista Encantada Entrance
     * The front walls on each side of the entrance are being constructed. A retaining wall is being built along the entrance street using the rocks and boulders from the property. The rock for the entrance and street up to the first intersection will be delivered the end of this week and will be laid as the street progresses. Diego Mendez has created a design for the rock at the intersection and at the entrance that we are very excited about. Photos of the renderings will be online as they are completed.

Electrical
     * The power poles from the town of El Divisadero to Vista Encantada are now being strung with the electric lines. Power will be available at Vista Encantada by the end of this week (3/7/09)!

Vista Encantada Streets
     * Street names for the first phase streets:
          o Calle Vista Encantada (the entrance street)
          o Calle Vista Hermosa (the street that runs along the “A” lots)
          o Calle Vista Selva (the street that runs in front of the “D” lots. Selva is the Spanish word for jungle)
          o Calle Mirador (the street that runs along the sides of Lots C-13, C-7, and B-8.)
As of this week, February 17th, streets are being cut through to the second phase of Vista Encantada. The streets will flow naturally with the land, going around and saving as many trees as possible. The first load of the stone that will be used for the streets was delivered. Stone will be laid starting at the entrance and working up to the first intersection at Calle Vista Encantada and Calle Vista Hermosa.

Water System & Well
     * The trenching for the water system (pipes) are now completed for the phase I section. Water faucets are actually in place and working for each lot! The water study was completed last week for drilling a well. There is plenty of water on the property and the process will be started for drilling a well as soon as the reports are received (expected this week). The water study reports were received (3/2/09) and filed with the Municipality. Estimates are being done at this time to begin drilling for the well.

The Model Homes
· We have three model homes planned for the first phase. On lot A-3, we are planning to build the Casa Costa II, a 2 bedroom, 2-½ bath Model. On lot b-1, we plan to build the spectacular Casa Miramar II, 3 bedrooms, 3 bath model. On lot A-10, we plan to build the Casa Riviera, 2 bedrooms, 2-½ bath model home. Construction of Casa Costa II is scheduled to start soon.

Local News:
· The widening and paving project for the road from Highway 200, at the turn off to El Divisadero (and Vista Encantada) is in progress. See photos below! This road will be paved from the highway to the town of El Divisadero (which is 1.8 kilometers from Vista Encantada).
